Dead Space
Dead Space refers to portions of a recording where no one is speaking or where long silences occur. Content Lab can detect and delete these segments automatically, producing cleaner, shorter recordings that hold audience attention.
Description
The written summary of an event. Displayed on the Registration Page, Event Landing Page, and inside event emails via merge tags.
Discussion Room
A breakout room within an event for smaller group discussion or networking, separate from the main stage. Attendees can join Discussion Rooms to have interactive conversations (video/audio) in a more intimate setting. Goldcast tracks when someone enters a discussion room (an “Attended Discussion Room” activity) and how long they spend there as part of engagement metrics. Example: During the conference, participants moved to themed Discussion Rooms (for example, “Networking Lounge”) after the keynote to chat and network with fellow attendees in a smaller group.
Dismiss Question
An action in the Q&A panel that removes a submitted question from public visibility. Dismissed questions remain in the organizer’s view for record-keeping.
