Once an event is created, you may click “Duplicate Event” for an exact copy of your event. We created this feature so you can essentially have templates for different types of events within your dashboard.
Note: the only things that don’t copy over are speakers, registrants, and RTMP streams. If you have repeat speakers from a previous event, once you add their email, the fields will auto-fill so you won’t have to do it manually every time. Another thing to check after duplicating is integration. If you had integration set up to push data back to your CRM, this is all set. For integrations connecting to your registration page, this is an event by event basis. So for this next event, if you are looking to connect the Goldcast platform to a Hubspot or Marketo landing page, you will have to set up a new integration to connect that new integration to the new event.
Additionally, after duplicating the event you may change certain aspects if you need to customize it. For example, if you need to change the logo, you may do so.
