Overview
All emails sent to registrants from the Goldcast platform are sent from no-reply@goldcast.io
by default and the same is set as the reply-to address. However with custom email domain feature enabled , you can set any email address of your domain using which you wish to send registration/reminder notifications for all your events. Additionally the reply-to address would also be set the same as custom email setup and if attendees respond to an email, organizers can monitor those email responses.
At any given point of time, organizers can connect a single email sending domain per organization. They will be able to delete existing one and then connect to a different email sending domain.

Setting up a DNS Record
After clicking on Continue, you will see DNS records on the screen and you will need to copy and add these values to your domain's DNS records.
Copy the values displayed and ensure that the DNS records are added/updated properly for your DNS provider.
Until then , the verification status for the set email domain will display as pending & event notifications will continue to use the default Goldcast mail.
The following links provide further instructions for adding DNS records to specific platforms:
Verify Email Sending Domain
Once the DNS records are updated, you will need to wait for a few minutes or time indicated by the record’s TTL (time-to-live) setting before clicking on Verify button. This varies based on the DNS providers.
After clicking on Verify, if the records were set properly in you DNS provider settings then the verification would be successful and you will see "Record Verified" status and the custom email address will start reflecting as Default instead of the Goldcast mail address. Now all event notifications will be sent out using this custom email address.
After clicking on Verify, if the DNS updates have not yet processed or are missing, you will see a warning. In this case, we request to ensure the records are updated correctly on your DNS providers and then click on Verify again after waiting for a few minutes.
At any point, to navigate back to the domain list view, use the back button on the top left.To view the DNS record values at a later point of time, you can simply click on the record.
