Event Organizers and Speakers can select layout options when they are sharing or presenting content on the stage. There are 5 layout options to select from and can be used when speakers, moderators and event organizers are sharing slides, polls, Q&A or their screen. All attendees' stage view will be the layout selected by speaker or event organizer.
This layout selection only applies when polls, Q&A or slides are shared or when screen is being shared. It does not impact banners ,images, posted messages or tickers presented on stage.
Selecting a Layout
Once a speaker or moderator or event organizer has shared content- polls, Q&A or slides on to the stage or has shared their screen, they will see a Layout option on the lower section of stage, next to the Stop sharing CTA. Clicking on the Layout option opens a dropdown with available options.
For any session when content is shared on stage, by default Layout selection is Left of screen and toggles: Show only active speaker, Round speaker video are off.
To select any other preferred layout, click the radio button. This selection applies to the particular session only and is retained for any speakers and organizer in the session until changed.
Layout can be changed anytime during the presentation and selected layout will be visible to attendees without them having to refresh.
Note: Event organizers will be able to see and update layout option whenever any speaker or moderator has shared screen stage.
Speakers of session and organizers will be able to see and update layout option whenever any of them has shared poll, Q&A or slides.
Layout: Left of Screen
In this layout view, video(s) of speaker(s) on the stage are stacked to the left and the shared content is on the right. This is the default video layout when any content is published. If active speaker toggle is on then only the video of the person speaking will be displayed on the left.
Attendee View:
When there are multiple speakers and show only active speaker toggle is off, if all videos of the speakers on stage do not fit on the screen, scroll arrows appear on top/bottom as applicable to allow users to scroll through the entire list and whoever is the speaker speaking at the moment, their video would appear on the top.
This ensures that even if attendees do not scroll , they would always see the active speaker's video tile as the first.
Layout: Split Screen (16:9)
In this layout, video of the active speaker is displayed prominently on the left , the shared content on the right portion.

With Rounded video:
Layout : Split Screen (Fill)
In this layout, the video of the active speaker and shared content are split side by side and both sides are filled. This layout gives the maximum screen coverage for speaker video.
Attendee View:
Layout : Under Screen
In this layout, video tiles or the rounded views will appear below the content shared on stage.
If there are multiple speakers on stage and show only active speaker toggle is off, attendees can use the scroll icons to see the list of speakers.
The active speaker's tile would always appear as first and this would ensure that your attendees are always able to view the speaker speaking at the moment even if they did not scroll.
Attendee View:
Layout: No Speaker Videos
With this layout, you can hide videos of all of the speakers on stage and draw more attention to the shared content on stage.
Attendee View:
Show only active speaker and Round speaker video
In addition to the 5 layout options, there are two toggles available: Show only active speaker, and Round speaker video.
Show only active speaker: By default, all speakers on stage will be visible alongside content being shared on stage. If an Organizer turns on "Show only active speaker" then only the one speaker who is speaking (the "active speaker") will be visible. The rest of the speakers' videos will be hidden.
In case of Split Screen layouts, your audience will always see the video of speaker whoever is speaking at the time.
Note: Mobile devices default to active speaker view no matter what layout is chosen by speaker or organizer.
Rounded speaker video: Speaker videos are typically rectangles. Selecting "Rounded speaker video" will display speaker videos as circles instead when content is being shared to the stage.
Note: When speakers are on stage and no content is shared, the video layout will always be rectangular.
