Content Lab makes it super easy to create engaging, bite-sized video clips from your long videos. 

Method 1: Generate clips using AI

As soon as you upload a video, Content Lab automatically AI-powered short video clips from it. You can view, edit and share these clips.  

To view these clips: 

1. Log into Content Lab.
2. Click the Show All button on the top-right and select your desired uploaded video recording.  
   
    
3. You can find a list of AI-generated video clips in the left panel. These clips are ready to use. However, you can customize them further using the Clip Customizer toolbar on the right.  
   
    
4. Click the + Create Clips button at the bottom to generate more clips from your video. 

Note: The maximum number of AI clips that Content Lab generates for a video varies dynamically depending on the video's length. However, there is no limit to the number of manual clips you can create from your videos.

Method 2: Create clips manually

1. Log into Content Lab, click the Show All button and choose the video from which you want to create clips.
   
    
2. Click the Transcript menu on the left. 
3. Read the transcript or hit the play button to find the part of the video that you want to clip.  
4. Select the desired text in the transcript and click the Create Clip button. 
   
    
5. Voila! Your short video clip is ready to go and can be found under the Clips menu. 
6. Click the Clip Customizer toolbar on the right to make further edits to the clip. 
   
   
    

Heads up! You can edit the speaker details directly from the transcript by clicking the icon next to each speaker. 

FAQs & Troubleshooting

1. What format are the video clips? 

All video clips generated in Content Lab are .mp4 files. You can download them to use anywhere. 

2. How do I rename a video clip I created in Content Lab?

Select the video clip you want to edit and hit the Settings icon at the bottom left. In the Settings drawer, you can change the clip's Title and Date. 

3. What's the maximum length of video clips I can create?

You can create individual video clips with a maximum duration of three hours each.
