Block Inappropriate Emojis from Event Chat

In Goldcast events, attendees can type and react with emojis in event chats. The Hidden Emojis feature allows you to prevent the use of emojis that might be offensive or inappropriate. You can block specific emojis to maintain a respectful and professional discourse in the chat, ensuring the event remains inclusive and enjoyable for all attendees. 

How to hide specific emojis

  1. Log into your Goldcast account and navigate to Settings → Preferences using the left sidebar. 
  2. Click the Edit button, click the icon, and use the emoji picker to select the emojis you want to hide from chats. 
  3. Click Save

These emojis will now be hidden in the emoji picker in the chat.

1. How many emojis can I hide?

Any number. There are no restrictions. 

2. Will these emojis be hidden across all events in my organization?

Yes. Emojis added to this list will not be available in any event in your organization. 

3. I've accidentally added an emoji to the blocked list. How do I reverse the action?

Head to Settings → Preferences and click the Edit button. Hover over the emoji you want to remove from this list, click the mark, and click Save
