Overview
Surveys are an excellent way to gather feedback from attendees about the session, speakers, and overall experience. You can use this feedback to gain valuable insights and improve future events.
In Goldcast, surveys are available at the session level. Event organizers and speakers can launch surveys during the session, and attendees respond directly from the events apps. After the event, you can download the responses using the Analytics tab in your Goldcast Studio.

- Use the Delete icon to remove an incorrect question.
- Use the drag-and-drop functionality to reorder your questions if required.
- Click Save.
Launching surveys
During the session, organizers and speakers can launch the survey by navigating to the Surveys tab in the sidebar of their events app. In the Survey tab, you can perform the following actions:
Preview
Click the Preview button to view how the survey would look to attendees.
Launch
To launch a survey, click the Launch Survey button. Click Submit on the confirmation pop-up to open the survey to event attendees.
Close
After launching the survey, you can close it by clicking the Close Survey button in the survey tab. Closing the survey removes it from the attendees’ engagement panel. Once an organizer or speaker closes the survey, attendees get 30 seconds to complete submitting their responses.
Responding to surveys
Once the organizer or speaker launches a survey, it becomes visible to attendees in the sidebar of the event space. Attendees can submit their responses during the session. Alternatively, attendees can minimize the survey using the Minimize button if they prefer to submit their responses later in the session.
