Content Lab 101

New to Content Lab? Start Here!

Is this your first time trying out Content Lab, or do you want to learn what’s new? You’re in the right place. This page will walk you through all the fantastic features of Content Lab so you can become an expert user in no time. Let's get started. 

Open Content Lab

Existing Goldcast users

Content Lab is automatically included in your Goldcast plan. To open your Content Lab dashboard, click Content on the left sidebar in Goldcast Studio

 

New to Goldcast?

You can sign up for a standalone Content Lab account, even if you aren't a Goldcast user. 

Open https://admin.goldcast.io/content/auth/signup and complete the signup process. 

Import a video

Enter the link of the video you want to repurpose. Alternatively, you can upload local video files using the Upload a File option. 

Once Content Lab finishes processing your video, it automatically generates multiple types of assets, such as short video clips, social posts, blogs, emails, and takeaways. 

Create assets

Click the tabs on the left panel to create different assets from your video.

Set up your brand kit

You can build a brand kit to create assets that match your branding guidelines. Currently, you can set up the following in your brand kit:

Video editing

Editing your video clips is a breeze with Content Lab's intuitive and user-friendly clip editor. You don't need to be a video editing pro to create polished clips that align with your branding guidelines and marketing goals. 

With the tools conveniently located on the right and bottom, you can seamlessly enhance your clips in just a few clicks. To know more about video editing:
